Harry Potter and the Goblet of FireHarry Potter wallpapers, display images in IM, posters, magazines... I really can't get enough of it. The onlyy time that it was out of my head was when we were shopping for beading materials---my other addiction now (thanks teacher Les. :o). Going back to HP, we've been counting the days, and finally, the wait was over.
I went to see the movie last thursday with my friend Lestat. The scenes were really altered, but compared to the third installment of the movie, the GoF is more understandable. The highlights in the 4th book were patched together very nicely. Even those who did not read the book will not be confused on what is going on. Although, a friend of mine texted me, while in middle of the story, "Who is Sirius?".
What's your favorite part of the movie? Mine was the Quidditch World Cup scene. It made me feel like I was among the crowd (probably beside Ginny), cheering and very excited. If only I was not in a moviehouse, I might have been cheering for real. I liked it when the players where presented and the magical mosaic where Krum's face was displayed.
Unfortunately, Bill and Charlie were not shown. Dobby and Winky were not there also. I don't know about Winky, but possible that they could not afford to have Dobby again. He might be asking for high talent fee now, and garbed with Armani socks. Hehehe!
I already know the story by heart because I reviewed it before seeing the movie, but still, I couldn't hold back my tears when the Third Task started. The movie showed how proud Amos Diggory is about his son and (sob!) knowing what will happen to him next, I had to sink low on my seat so that it won't be to obvious when I wipe my tears.
Let us also acknowledge the way Dan has cried and held on Cedric's body. It was really effective that the audience could feel the trauma that Harry Potter is having.
Okay, a lot of thoughts is coming through my mind right, but I am not much of a writer to be able to put them nicely in this article. So I decided to list them instead:
Voldemort
1. Ralph Fiennes' eyes are exactly how I pictures Voldemorts' eyes would be--cold and piercing.
2. The eyes are piercing, alright, but the nose is kinda missing.
3. He must be really overwhelmed he's got a functioning body again, that he forgot how fine Tom Riddle has been when he was still a prefect. In the movie, he was a little to animated.
Wormtail - (Peter Pettigrew) Did he choose to be a mouse as his animagus form because he already looked like a mouse, or was it just a coincidence?
Fred and George Weasley - very funny... and cute too.
Dumbledore - i don't think he was very friendly in the movie.
Umm...what else? Ah! Among all the HP movies, so far, this is my favorite. I enjoyed 95% of it.
Attached here is a family photo of the Weasley. This is currently my desktop background.

Can the Great Houdini escape from this?http://www.fasco-csc.com/works/crimson/crimson_e.php if you think your smart enough, try to escape from the Crimson Room... if you succeed, don't feel good about yourself yet... you are still in the Viridian Room...

If you cannot decipher anything, then try pulling the corner of your eyes as if you were Chinese. It works! :) Ramdom quotesI was listening to my favorite station this morning and I listed some of the entries who made it to their Top 10 list ( though I was not able to write down the speakers of these quotes):
You do nothing but complain about how you cannot stand this place,
but you do not have the guts to leave.
Cupid, cupid, cupid.. we need to talk about your aim.
Love at first sight is often corrected by second look.
It's not the men in my life that counts it's the life in my men. The only way to have friends is to be one. Money is the bottomless sea where in conscience and friendship can be drowned. Youth is wasted on the young. You don't need to have a reason to help people Effort is great but result is better. Suicide is the most courageous thing a coward can do.

There's a fine line between love and a waste of time.

A paper is like a skirt, long enough to cover the topic, and short enough to be interesting.
It's dunkin' timeWe got so bored here in the office, then one of my friends sent us a very funny gamesite.
Check it out: We ended up laughing our asses out while trying to make a dunkee out of each other's pictures.
Here, I even made one for myself:
